GERD Treatment

GERD (GastroEsophageal Reflux Disease) occurs when a weakened one-way valve near the top of the stomach allows stomach acid, enzymes and bile to escape into the esophagus. The most common symptom associated with GERD is heartburn. However, GERD can cause a wide variety of symptoms including, but not limited to:

  • Regurgitation
  • Choking episodes at night
  • Chest pain
  • Difficulty or pain when swallowing
  • Asthma
  • Chronic sore throat
  • Chronic cough
  • Laryngitis

We have partnered with local physicians who specialize in the treatment of GERD to educate patients with treatment options.
