Terry’s House, a hospitality home for families whose loved ones are receiving critical care at Community Regional Medical Center in downtown Fresno, was the recipient of an anonymous donation – a nativity. Staff and volunteers set up the nativity in the foyer so that families can enjoy a little bit of Christmas as they go to and from visiting their loved ones in the hospital.
Kim Powell cried the day she left Community Regional Medical Center’s antepartum unit for women who are experiencing trouble with their pregnancy. She didn’t want to leave, even though it meant she was going to be delivering her baby and getting off six weeks of bed rest.
Security officer Denise Weaver-Cantu spent part of her overnight shift baking pumpkin pie and her "gooey" pecan bars for about 30 residents that spent Thanksgiving at Terry's House on the campus at Community Regional Medical Center in downtown Fresno.
