Community Medical Centers implemented a state-of-the-art electronic medical record system starting Sept. 28, which is designed to enhance care and service to patients. Now there is one record for each patient in one electronic location, usable by all of those who provide medical care within the Community network.
The Deran Koligian Ambulatory Care Center is a 79,534-square-foot facility just north of Community Regional Medical Center, on the southwest corner of McKenzie Avenue and Wayte Lane. It was named in honor of the late Fresno County Board of Supervisors chairman, who was a longtime advocate of health services for the disadvantaged.

Dr. Gerald Alexander, Community Regional Medical Center oral and maxillofacial surgeon brings many of his patients from his practice to the hospital for surgery. Katie Stater, R.N. is one of his patients and as a nurse she knows first-hand what goes on in the operating room. She puts her trust in Dr. Alexander and his team to fix her upper and lower jaw and chin.
