Medical Leave of Absence
Full-time and part-time employees are allowed medical leave of absence without pay.
Personal or Educational Leave of Absence
Full-time and part-time employees are allowed personal or educational leave of absence without pay.
Full-time employees receive their base salary equivalent for a maximum of 30 days while serving as a juror.
Full-time and part-time (working at least 40 hours per pay period) employees may take up to three days of leave with full pay in case of death in the immediate family, including grandchildren, grandparents, mothers-in-law and fathers-in-law. One day of leave with full pay is granted in case of death of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and spouse's grandparent.
All Community employees are eligible to receive up to four months of leave for medically certified disability for pregnancy or childbirth.
Full-time and part-time (working at least 40 hours per pay period) employees are eligible for up to 12 weeks of leave coordinated with paid leave (if available) for personal illness, birth or adoption of a child, serious illness of a child, or to care for a parent or spouse who has a serious health condition.
Military Leave of Absence
Full-time and part-time employees are granted leave without pay to serve in the military.
