Education Reimbursement Program
Community Medical Centers encourages professional development and career growth. After six months of employment, full-time and part-time employees are eligible for a $2,500 tuition reimbursement per calendar year for registration fees, courses and books; Tuition discounts through a partnership with Community-sponsored degree programs; and reimbursement up to $500 upon successful completion of approval professional certifications.

Workers' Compensation
All Community employees are eligible for hospital, physician care and compensation for job-incurred accidents or illness as governed by state law.

Unemployment Insurance
Upon termination, all Community employees may apply for state unemployment assistance. State law governs eligibility and the amount and number of payments.

Professional Liability Insurance
All Community employees are eligible for professional liability insurance provided by Community. The insurance provides coverage for performance of assigned duties as carried out within the scope of the job description and hospital policy.

State Disability Insurance (short-term)
All California employees are covered for up to 52 weeks for non-industrial illness or injury that may result in a short-term disability.

Employment Assistance Program (INSIGHT)
All Community employees and members of their household are eligible for the Employee Assistance Program that helps them get answers for any area of life that matters to them most. This includes emotional, marital, financial and legal information and advice. It provides up to three free visits and referrals to local professionals every six months.

Employee Health Center
All Community employees may access Community's Employee Health Center for health and safety services, including exams, assessments, administration of medicines and vaccines which are available to allow the employee to continue working.

Employee Fitness Center
All Community employees may access the Employee Fitness Center onsite at the Community Regional Campus. The fitness center provides available use of cardio machines, free weights, strength & endurance machines, and additional amenities such as showers, lockers, and towel service.

Employee Discount Services and Solutions
Offers all Community employees the benefit of discounts and coupons for a wide variety of goods and services such as movie tickets, amusement parks, shows, etc. Activity planning, gift services, car services, jewelry services, dry cleaning and parcel services are also available services to help employees accomplish errands while they work, providing them with more personal time when they are off the clock.

Credit Union
Community employees have access to financial and other services available through the Golden One Credit Union and the Fresno County Federal Credit Union. Contact the credit unions directly for more information.

Direct Deposit
Employees may elect to have their paychecks automatically deposited. This service is available with most banks and credit unions.

Parking
Free off-street parking is available to employees at all facilities.
