Our Leadership
It takes strong, dedicated leaders to operate the region's largest and most comprehensive health-care system. Community's board of trustees is composed of community-minded citizens who volunteer their time to serve as the ultimate decision-making authority for this nonprofit organization.
It is the board of trustees' responsibility to develop the corporation's strategic plan, which is executed by Community's leadership team. The leadership team oversees Community's day-to-day operations and manages Community's more than 6,000 employees, 1,000 affiliated physicians and 500 volunteers.
Community Medical Foundation's board of trustees is responsible for securing the necessary financial resources that allow Community to provide the highest level of health care to the people of the San Joaquin Valley. This board oversees fund-raising efforts that support the Valley's only Level 1 trauma center and a highly acclaimed burn center, building new facilities, expanding existing services, public outreach and updating medical equipment.
