Consumer Reports has ranked Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital among the “Top 7 hospitals in California” based on patients’ surveys about their hospital experience. Consumer Reports looked at doctor communication with patients, the hospital staff’s attentiveness, infection rates after surgery, the number of bloodstream infections acquired while in the intensive-care unit, and how aggressively or conservatively serious chronic medical conditions were treated.
