Requirements
Dear OMFS Applicant:
Thank you for your interest in applying to the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Community Medical Centers - Cedar Campus. We currently have a house staff of four residents in our approved four-year program. Community Regional Medical Center, our parent hospital, is the only Level 1 trauma center in central California and, therefore, sustains an active and steady work environment. With the exception of neurosurgery, we are the only surgical service that works with head and facial trauma. In addition, we have a busy outpatient clinic with the resulting opertive case load.
Applications for a post-grad, first-year resident will be accepted for the 2010 - 2011 program year.
WE ACCEPT ONLY THOSE APPLICANTS FROM A FULLY ACCREDITED U.S. OR CANADIAN DENTAL SCHOOL WITH BOARD SCORES 90 AND ABOVE (preference may be given to those with an active California dental license).
We require California licensure and a valid DEA registration number by the start of your second year.
We require a paper be submitted for publication prior to graduation from this residency.
Our residency program participates in the Postdoctoral Dental Matching Program and PASS (www.ADEA.org/pass). Your PASS application materials must be received by PASS no later than Nov. 2, 2009.

The residency program must receive the following materials through PASS by November 16, 2009:
Dental school transcripts (sent from the Registrar's office) - including the spring 2009 semester
Deans Professional Evaluation with Comments of Recommendation
Faculty Professional Evaluation with Comments of Recommendation (at least two)
Official National Board Scores
Curriculum Vitae
The residency program must also receive the following materials directly from you by November 16, 2009:

Small color identification photo (2x2) Undergraduate transcripts
