The Shakers are a group of emerging professionals that raise funds and promote the health status of the community for the benefit of Community Medical Centers. Members of The Shakers represent a broad range of local businesses and industries including: law, financial services, local government, health and wellness, media and real estate.
 
The Shakers host two events each year. The first is a fundraising event that is held each Spring. All proceeds benefit the new Table Mountain Rancheria Trauma Center located at Community Regional Medical. 

The second event, Casino Royale, is held during the fall. The event is held for the incoming and current residents of the UCSF-Fresno residency program. Casino Royale is an event for residents to meet other emerging professionals in Fresno and to have a fun and relaxing evening! Those invited includes: UCSF-Fresno residents and faculty, Community Medical Centers management, board members, private physicians and special guests. Through generous sponsorships, The Shakers host this event free of charge.  

The Shakers also volunteer their time for other annual Community Medical Centers events including Fill the Helmet (September) and the Weber BMW Golf Tournament (June).
