Bank of America Charitable Foundation awards grant to Terry’s House
Bank of America Charitable Foundation became the first corporate donor-investor to Terry’s House with a $250,000 gift to Community Medical Foundation just before Christmas. The money will be used to help build a hotel-like facility where burn and trauma patients’ families can stay while their loved ones receive critical care at Community Regional Medical Center.

Sculpture honoring Dr. Cohen unveiled
Dr. Sheldon E. Cohen was honored posthumously on Dec. 7 when a sculpture commissioned by local artist Chris Sorenson was unveiled in front of Dr. Cohen’s family, friends and colleagues at Community Regional Medical Center.

Community Medical Centers today announced the gift of $500,000 from River Park Properties for the construction of the Deran Koligian Ambulatory Care Center on the new downtown campus at Community Regional Medical Center. 

Save Mart Shootout benefits Community
More than 200 people turned out to catch some stars and golf pros Oct. 13,14 and 15, at the annual Save Mart Shootout at Riverbend Golf Course in Madera. While everyone enjoyed a good game of golf, Community Medical Centers will be enjoying a portion of the proceeds from the event.

Board approves Terry's House
Community Medical Centers' foundation, along with Tom Richards (chief officer of The Penstar Group), KMPH Fox 26 and others are joining together to fulfill a dream. With lead gift from Richards, and partnerships from others, Community's board of trustees approved the proposed name for a burn and trauma survivor family home on the campus of Community Regional Medical Center.
