Dina Ibrahim, M.D.
Specializing and board certified in oncology and hematology, Dr Ibrahim serves as director of medical oncology at the California Cancer Center. She completed her fellowship at Wayne State University and Karmanos Cancer Center in Detroit, MI.
Dr. Ibrahim treats a wide variety of cancer and blood disorders, but is especially interested in female malignancies. She also participates in clinical research through national organizations such as SWOG and CTSU. She is an assistant professor at UCSF, Fresno campus, where she participates in teaching residents about cancer and blood disorders. Her phiilosophy of care emphasizes a multi-disciplinary approach requiring teamwork and the latest medical advances, plus emotional, spiritual, social, nutritional, and complimentary medical care. To fully understand each patient's needs, she asks questions and listens carefully.
Striving to make California Cancer Center the number one referral site for Central Valley cancer patients, Dr. Ibrahim developed a multi-disciplinary approach to treating cancer through weekly combined modality conferences. There, patient's cases are reviewed and discussed with different specialists, including radiologists and radiation oncologists, to develop an integrated plan to treat patients who present to the California Cancer Center. She also participates in the Lung Nodule Program, a unique service offered to patients in the Central Valley with lung nodules or lung cancer.
Dr. Ibrahim is married and has three children. She enjoys reading, tennis, and traveling.
