Basic Life Insurance Accidental Death & Dismemberment
Full-time and part-time (working 40 or more hours per pay period) employees are eligible for basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage. Basic life insurance coverage for non-exempt employees is $10,000  and two times the annual salary for exempt employees. Basic death and dismemberment coverage is the same.

Workers' Compensation
All Community employees are eligible for hospital, physician care and compensation for job-incurred accidents or illness as governed by state law.

Unemployment Insurance
Upon termination, all Community employees may apply for state unemployment assistance. State law governs eligibility and the amount and number of payments.

Professional Liability Insurance
All Community employees are eligible for professional liability insurance provided by Community. The insurance provides coverage for performance of assigned duties as carried out within the scope of the job description and hospital policy.

State Disability Insurance (short-term)
All California employees are covered for up to 52 weeks for non-industrial illness or injury.
