Our CyberKnife® team is there to help you through each step of the treatment process. Depending on your needs, you will be cared for by nurses, radiation oncologists, surgeons, physicists and technicians. Each is an expert in his field and together, they work give you the best possible care. All patients work with a radiation oncologist (a doctor who specializes in treating cancer with radiation), as well as a neurosurgeon (for head and spine tumors) or surgeon (for tumors in other areas of the body).

Step 2: Multi-disciplinary Evaluation ConferenceEach week, a team of physicians from various specialties meet to review patient records and evaluate potential cases to determine whether the individual may be a candidate for CyberKnife treatment |

Step 3: Physician Consultation and Intake ProcessOne or more physicians and a Nurse Coordinator will meet with you and your family to discuss your condition and how the CyberKnife may be able to treat your condition |

Step 4: Patient Preparation, Diagnostic Procedures and Set-upSetup is the initial process that allows your doctor to plan the delivery of your CyberKnife treatment |

Step 5: Treatment PlanningTreatment planning is the process through which physicians and the medical physicist plan the details of radiation delivery |
