CyberKnife delivers concentrated, cancer-destroying doses of radiation to tumors. Even tumors that are considered inoperable due to their proximity to vital organs can often be treated, thanks to the pinpoint accuracy of CyberKnife’s radiation beam.
Contrary to its name, there is no incision involved with CyberKnife. In fact, treatment sessions are done in an outpatient setting and take just minutes. Unlike other radiation methods, patients feel no pain and experience little, if any, side effects.
