| "Respect for the patient in all areas is number one. Each person brings to the experience of cancer their unique self. Helping a person through all aspects of cancer care within that person's world is fundamental to excellent care," Frieda Brooks, L.C.S.W., California Cancer Center |
Along with advanced medical care, emotional support is an important part of the cancer treatment process. With that in mind, we offer a variety of support groups for cancer survivors and their families. These casual get-togethers are a great way to learn about cancer while sharing your thoughts and feelings with those who are fighting the disease as well. Below is a list of the support groups we offer: For more information, Contact Frieda Brooks at (559) 451-3618.
