Mission:
The mission of the Department of Pharmacy Services is to be recognized as providing excellence in pharmaceutical care for patients, physicians and nurses of Community Regional Medical Center through combined programs of patient care services, education, post-doctoral training and research.

Vision:
To achieve a national reputation as an acknowledged leader in the development and dissemination of state-of-the-art pharmaceutical care that is recognized for quality, customer satisfaction and cost effectiveness.

We have clinical pharmacy services in critical care, trauma, surgery, burn, emergency medicine, internal medicine, infectious diseases and ambulatory care. Our plans call for continued expansion into additional clinical areas.

Community is affiliated with the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), Fresno Medical Education Program, the UCSF School of Pharmacy, and Thomas J. Long, School of Pharmacy-University of the Pacific, offering pharmacists and pharmacy practice residents the opportunity to interact with outstanding clinical faculty and participate in the training of more than 200 medical residents and pharmacy students.
