The mission of Community Regional Medical Center’s Department of Pharmacy Services is to provide excellence in pharmaceutical care through innovative drug distribution systems, patient care services, education, post-doctoral training, and research.

To serve as a leader in the development and dissemination of state-of-the-art pharmaceutical care that is recognized for quality, medication safety, customer satisfaction, and cost-effectiveness.

We provide clinical pharmacy services in: critical care, burn, medicine, trauma, and surgery, emergency medicine, internal medicine, infectious diseases, neonatal intensive care, and ambulatory care. Our plans call for continued expansion into additional clinical areas.

Community is affiliated with the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), Fresno Medical Education Program, the UCSF School of Pharmacy, and Thomas J. Long, School of Pharmacy-University of the Pacific, offering pharmacists and PGY1 pharmacy residents the opportunity to interact with outstanding clinical faculty and participate in the training of more than 200 medical residents and pharmacy students.
