The Community Special Services (CSS) program, established in 1989, is committed to providing top quality medical care to adults, youth, children, infants and pregnant mothers who are HIV-positive.

Services include medical appointments with knowledgeable HIV providers, case management services both on-site and in-home, mental health services and counseling, and benefits counseling. Specialty care and case management is given for HIV positive women in pregnancy and post-partum with follow-up for the exposed infant through 24 months of age.

We also provide family and friends affected by HIV the opportunity to receive support and understand the disease as well as information on how to decrease their own risk behaviors. Members of the Community Special Services team are continually educated on the latest in HIV care and each provider is nationally certified by the American Academy of HIV Medicine.

Clinics are held Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Extended coverage is provided by an on-call CSS provider for evenings, weekends and holidays (559) 459-4000.
