As the region's largest health care provider, we have three hospitals in the Fresno/Clovis area that provide cardiac care: Community Regional Medical Center, Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital, and Clovis Community Medical Center. Each is supported by some of the most experienced cardiac physicians, nurses and technicians in the region, including UCSF Fresno Medical Education cardiology residents and faculty. Our surgeons provide leading-edge surgical care with surgeries such as beating-heart bypass, valve repair and video assisted thorascopic surgery.

Community Regional is central California’s leader in diagnostic and interventional heart procedures, performing more than any other institution between Stockton and Los Angeles. We partner with UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program, which offers the only cardiology and pulmonary fellowship training program in the San Joaquin Valley.

The hospital has 48 private suites, 12 ICU rooms, state-of-the-art surgical suites and specialized cardiac catheterization labs. The hospital also provides bariatric, orthopedic and general surgery.

Our commitment to heart health goes beyond the hospital walls and into the places where people work and play. Through the Community Cardiac Response Project (CCRP), Valley businesses are supplied with electronic defibrillators that can provide quick help to someone having a heart attack.
